Some Great Wall Decorating Ideas E-mail
A room can seem cold and uninviting if there are a lot of stark spaces. You can give your room some character and warm up the spaces by adding a little personality to the walls. You can accomplish this with the help of some wall decorating ideas. There are some great ideas for wall décor that can help you add a little life to stark areas in your room.

You can give depth and interest to your wall décor if you include texture to your wall decorating ideas. Some people use some extreme approaches to this technique by gluing straw to the area and applying crinkled paper bags to the wall. However, these ideas may be a little too unusual for your tastes.

You can add texture to your decorations without using strange materials or odd looking elements. For instance, you can find inspiration in wallpapers that comes in an array of styles and textures.
You can find great wall decorating ideas simply by looking at textures available in wallpaper. It is a lot nicer and easier to apply to the area than hay and other unusual materials.

Using a decorative item like a beautiful quilt can also add a little depth and texture to your walls. This is also a great opportunity to show off your favorite quilt or a prized family heirloom sewn by an ancestor. Using elements like this is one of my favorite wall decorating ideas.

You can also use your interests and hobbies as inspiration for your wall decorating ideas. I collect antique tools and I use them in a wonderful display. The great thing about using my collection is that the items cover our high walls and they are relatively inexpensive. This idea is also useful because the tools would just be lying around in a disorganized mess in our basement if they weren’t displayed.

If you want to design a girl’s room, you should look at your closet or attic space for good wall decorating ideas. My sister used old gowns that she wore to proms and Christmas dances when she was in high school as wall décor. These formal dresses were packed away in her attic.

The colors and patterns were so pretty that she thought that they would be great for a little girl’s retreat. This is one of the wall decorating ideas that really appeals to children. My daughter immediately runs for the playroom whenever we visit my sister’s home.
